American Flag Leasing Program

Annual subscription in the American Flag Leasing Program is $75. With each subscription, a 3' X 5' American flag will be delivered to your home or business for 8 national holidays/commemorative events: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot's Day, Election Day and Veteran's Day.  All flags are mounted on a 10 foot pole and uniformly placed on your property. Flags will be set up for display on your property Memorial Day until Independence Day, Labor Day until Patriot's Day, and Election Day until Veteran's Day. Net proceeds support local and international causes, including local youth scholarships. Gift subscriptions are available, which are a great way to honor a veteran in your family.

How does the program work?

Subscribers pay an annual fee of $75. Flags are displayed in your front yard on eight national holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Juneteenth,  Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot's Day, Election Day and Veteran’s Day. A 3x5 foot American Flag is placed on a 10 foot pole and secured in a mount, uniformly placed in your front yard or business. We install and retrieve the flags, 3 days prior and 3 days after the national holiday grouping.

What happens to the money?

We purchase the flags, poles, installation gear, replace worn flags, and maintain a storage facility. Our club members volunteer their time to make new flag poles with flags attached, insert sleeves in yards, inspect and maintain the flags, and place them on 8 holidays. Net proceeds from this, our primary fundraiser, helps the Sheboygan Rotary Club support many causes locally and internationally. Our main project is youth scholarships.
