HOLIDAY FLAGS

Help create a community of red, white and blue! Join others on your street to honor our country with holiday flags in all our neighborhoods.

Allen Rotary will place a 3’x 5’ flag in your front yard for 7 holidays per year, and pick it up again after the holiday. A plastic pipe will be buried in your front lawn permanently, flush with the ground, to hold the flagstaff. The flag and staff will remain the property of the Allen Rotary.

Where the money goes

All profits will support local community, national, and international Rotary projects. For $50.00 per year (July-June), Rotary will provide and install the pipe, provide the flag, store it properly when not in use, and deliver and pick up the flag for the following holidays:

Subscription Cycle
We run our flag program from Independence Day thru Flag Day.  Price will be prorated depending on when you sign up during the subscription cycle so be sure to pay the correct amount. 

• Independence Day (July ): Subscribe by June 25 and pay $50 for subscription through the following Flag Day (June)
• Labor Day/Patriot Day (September): Subscribe by August 25 and pay $50 for subscription through the following Flag Day (June)
• Veteran's Day (November): Subscribe by October 25 and pay $40 for subscription through the following Flag Day (June)
• President's Day (Feb):  Subscribe by January 30 and pay $35 for subscription through the following Flag Day (June)
• Memorial Day (May): Subscribe by May 15 and pay $30 for subscription through the following Flag Day (June)
• Flag Day (June 14): Subscribe by May 30 and pay $25 for delivery for this holiday only.

The Rotary Club of Allen is a member of Rotary International, the world’s oldest and largest service organization. With the proceeds from this flag program, our club supports many service and humanitarian projects, locally and worldwide as well as provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
